It seems like yesterday I was entering the long adventure of moving from the Great White North of British Columbia down to the promise land of Vancouver. Yet reality reveals that was just about a year ago. Now my husband and I are getting ready for our next adventure. The two of us will be moving again. We are not leaving Vancouver, just the West End where we currently life. The cost of living is just too high here for the two of us.

I will be sad to be leaving the area in some ways. The communte is longer into work from the new place and I will no longer be a hop, skip, and a jump away from the water and the park. I will miss the library that is two blocks away from me. And the food! Believe me when I say that the West End as some amazing, wonderful food.

Yet, that being said, I am happy and excited to leave this place as well. For those of you who follow my LiveJournal as well you know that I have been having issues with my Landlord. Rent is also expensive. Basically my entire income from the month goes straight towards rent well my husbands goes towards to bills. It will be nice to have some extra cash again.

The new place is also closer to my little sister's. It's a bigger place than our current one. Rent inclues heat, hydro, water, garbage pick up, the use of the front yard, and the real winner: free laundry!!! It also means a new area of town to expect to see new pictures slowly trickle their way in.
